Soft Scrub accidentally used in stone .... help!?
New apartment, ensuite marble bathroom never cleaned before. I was in a race to clean up and grabbed the Soft Scrub Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser and sporadically sprayed on the walls. After a few seconds, I realized foaming white lines where he landed and immediately rinse the walls. So ... so I decided to look into the bottle and says it is not recommended for natural stone. Now a lot of white lines in random places where it landed spraying, and there are places in the white lines have been ... Crystal Clear ... and it scares me. Fortunately ... merge with the natural model and probably not noticed by the owner. So my question is ... What is the worst that could happen here? Bands are going to be the only side effect of this haste? Or is it possible that something worse that could happen? Thank you in advance!
Soft Scrub certainly hurt sealer and polished marble with any surface. It is also likely weaken the crystal structure on the surface, if they remain in a period of time. Should therefore be avoided. The worse your situation is that the products chemical could have entered the marble. If this happens, you will notice the color change to show in the near future. However, as you said, the chemical remained only a few seconds, if not the probability of penetration is very high.
