I think I know the person who stole something from me at school, how should I deal with this?
Somebody stole my pencil case, which contained all my pencils, pens, highlighters, and school supplies in it. It seems petty, but I paid for it and I don't want my things (or anyone else's) stolen.
Today I saw that the girl had the EXACT same pencil case, with a carabiner (climber's clip) on it, which I do not believe she had before.
We have a security system in my school and I think the police officer could look at the tapes to see if she came out of the locker room with it, however he won't be there tomorrow and I'd have to talk with my assistant principal.
I just really want my stuff back, but I don't know how to get it back. The only problem is I cannot properly ID it because I didn't write my name inside it or anything.
report your pencil case stolen and tell them that you saw this girl had it but dont go and directly accuse her, let them handle it. maybe describe the contents of it.
