Local Resources:
Directions to the Uniform Bank. Although our troop maintains a swap closet downstairs in the community center, the Uniform Bank is a great resource when your particular size is not available. The Uniform Bank is run as a SERVICE and is free of charge. Please donate your outgrown uniforms. For specific information on uniforms and insignia, go to the uniform page.

Merit Badge Resources:

Merit badges are designed to teach the Scout to use the resources of the community. Merit Badge Counselors (MBCs) may be professionals, members of the community, or parents with a particular skill or interest in the subject. All parents qualify to be a counselor for at least one merit badge. There are two groups of merit badges: (1) Eagle-required, and (2) Elective. Merit badges are required for advancement to Star and above. A total of 21 merit badges is the minimum required for Eagle rank. Once the Scout has made a merit badge selection, he must contact his Scoutmaster and must obtain a buddy who will work with him or be present while he works on the merit badge during meetings with the merit badge counselor.
